Obviously, this is the best forum, its free, there are many pleasant people, its well regulated, plain and simple to use and there is no foul language or explicit content of the human or animal nature and no in your face adverts.

However, I have read numerous threads where people including myself have used material and referenced other forums, either by content copied or simply by using the forum name.

I was just wondering how many other forums there are out there specifically dedicated to VAG automotive group.

THIS IS NOT AN OPEN OPPURTUNITY TO ADVERTISE YOUR FORUM AND FISH FOR NEW MEMBERS OR STEAL OURS.

BLATENT ADVERTS WILL, I'M SURE BE REMOVED.

I am fully aware as are probably many other people here that there are other forums out there and if we want to look we'll let our fingers do the talking.

A couple that i'm aware of is uk-mkivs.net and mytreg.com

slightly off topic in regards to VAG, but still an excellent forum nonetheless, when i had my fiat brava, i lived on fiatboo.co.uk, led by an excellent guy called wimmy they have an owners club too, which is recognised by insurers etc for discounts.

it's boo who are responsible for getting me bitten by the forum bug in the first place and sculpted the way i behave on such forums as VWAF.

i'm a member of mkiv too, but cant say i spend much time on there. i also pop onto tdisport and vagsport, as well as tdiclub and detailingworld.

I don't use any other VW/Audi or indeed vehicle forums at all.

I do however go to Pepipoo and Five 0.

There are a few I think, but dare I say this one seems very mature which I like, so therefore the only VAG one I use.

I think out of all the time I spend on the internet, forums take up 80%, work research 10% and the last 10% just general stuff.

I was bitten many years ago by Half-Life and COD, and spent loads of time on the puter, that has now been 100% replaced with forums, the majority of which are car biased.

I only use this forum for vag stuff. I couldn't get on with the American site. One place I do spend some time is site called Gixerboyz. Dedicated to the legendary Suzuki gsxr but all bikes welcome. Real friendly and not to many big heads bit like here. I can safely say this is the best VAG site I've found. Well done all the mods for keeping it under control
