I know this has been done before on here but i'd be damnd if i can find the thread.

Can anyone tell me what parts are needed for this.

The body work has been done so just need the heat sheild, hanger etc.

Also which model is the dual exhuast from?

Does this change the performance at all?

    Cheers.

    What a star!

I wasn't sure the 2.5 tdi was going to fit but i'll go for that one now!

Already got the lower cut out fitted and painted so most of the expencive stuff is done.

    Thanks again.

Where does the heat shield go and where does it fit?

I've just bought a rear valance with 2 cut outs but am unsure as to whether it came with the heat shield?

I believe the heat shield goes by the side of the fuel tank.

Hmmm... Interesting. Could I already have them on my car? Perhaps I could transplant them?!

Which 2.5 exhaust did you get. Been looking on ETKA and there are differences between the 163, 180 and quattro.

Does the mid section fit straight on the the front pipe of the 1.9?

    Anyone else completed this retro?

I have a 2.5 Q, the pipes are hidden behind the bumper.

I've done it. I used a b7 2.0t fwd exhaust. If you've got a 1.9 i'dnsuggrst keeping an eye out for a b6 or b7 1.8t exhaust or the 2.0t like I did. It's a straight swap provided you have the heatshield and hanger. Only thing with the b6 1.8t, the tips are only 60mm which ate tiny, so you might want to chop them off and weld on some slightly bigger (yet tasteful) tips. I don't think the 2.5 v6 will fit your 1.9 4 cylinder, unless you're going to hack it up.
The important thing to remember is quattro exhaust to quattro car and fwd exhaust to fwd car. There's a few threads on here about it all and I've added pictures for ref too, search my friend

Let us know how you get on fitting and what's required to make it fit, pictures would be good too, help the boys out.
