Does anyone know how to remove an audi a4 radiator, I didnt fancy doing a big job on it. So I just removed the hoses as it looked like it would just slide out, but it gets jammed on the coolant pipe running just in front of the radiator. Im I missing a trick or should i get my socket set out?

welcome to the forum. bad news im afraid, you cant change the radiator, so if radweld wont fix it, its scrap. if you dont believe me, post your question in the audi a4 section, and see if someone else gives you a different answer. hope this helps.

You can't change the rad on an A4? So if the rad fails, the car is essentially scrap? Bad show if thats the case.................

you've clearly missed the subtle humour of zollaf's post.

this is the general chat about anything other than VAG cars and we're getting tired of one post wonders cluttering it up with VAG-specific queries simply because they're too lazy to post in the relevant section.

I'll stop typing now, before I earn myself a ban for losing the plot/swearing at a new member.

Ahhh, I see. In my defence, I had partaken of the best part of a bottle of Bacardi at the time of reading last night, so wasn't at my sharpest.

I must admit, I had noticed a quite a lot of posts in here that should be in the vehicle specific forums, and I've only been here a very short time.
