Does anybody know where the standard fit Bluetooth preparation microphone fits in the MK6 Golf?

They sell the microphone itself on eBay stating that the wiring is in place...

I was wondering if I could either fit my Parrot microphone in its place or buy one and hook it up to my Parrot CK3000 Evolution...

    Cheers,
    Neil.

Hi. I've got the bluetooth preparation in my golf mk6 and ithe microphone is behind the left hand grill above the rearview mirror. To get to it you have to take off the drivers side A-pillar. There is a little badge with airbag on it. Prise that off and there is a screw behind it. Remove that and slowly pull off A-pillar. YOu can then thread microphone through and plug it into your Parrot or buy one, but you might have to change ends. If you get the VW one, you know it will fit behind the grill. There are a couple of screws in the console above the mirror that you will have to remove to get at the grill.

I fitted a genuine Skoda kit - VW kit in the UK doesnt work with iPhones - and the wiring wasnt there for me, had to route the cable all the way myself.
