Just picked up the car .. and reading through the manual..
Has anyone got the MFD convenience settings in light and vision for Travel mode ?
Don't find it on mine so is it for the Xenon's only..?

I don't think I have that option on my mfd menu.
I don't have the xenon option though so you could be right, mind you I don't remember seeing any mention of it in the handbook either, perhaps it is a new option on the latest cars, I did get mine in December.

Hmnn...got mine delivered to the dealer in March and the manual is 11.2009 so I guess that might be the revision you got too..
Weird that there is such a wide variation - they've also removed the show/no show speed settings on the U.K version..
Anyone get the travel emergency kit..or even the oil??!! Bigmac had indicated this was delivered but the dealer was adamant this is no longer the case...

The oil is purely down to the dealer and nothing to do with VW

New model year for Golfs starts 5/2010 - this month... It'll take several weeks for the new specs to filter through to every car though. Not sure what this travel mode is though.
