Hi I have the missfire issues and so have checked to see which coil pack was at fault. Unplugged each one to see which one didn't make the missfire worse.

Anyway pulled out what I think is the faulty one and the code on it is
06B 905 115L, when I look this up on the internet I seem to get the parts listed for Audi and not VW. My car is a 2000 Golf GTI petrol 1.8 Turbo (150BHP) can anyone confirm if this is the correct part.

Also looking at after market so Euro car Parts. They seem to have three different makes on offer - BBT, ARC and what they call OEM, all vary in price. Is there any one to stay clear of?

Can't afford 4 so am going to change the one I feel is the faulty one. I have pulled two others out to check part numbers, but just read that pulling them out can damage them, is that so....

    Many Thanks

change which you think is the faulty one for a different cyl to see if the fault moves, but dont forget the basics .......it could be the spark plug.....loooooots cheaper than a coil pack,

thanks, will try that, though I don't have any Diag tools, but that said it would still prove the plug as ok.

Just swapped it and it didn't work on the next cylinder so must be that coil plug.

Can anyone confirm the part number?

Cheers, bought one from Euro Carparts, it was the OE one that seems to be VW stamped, different number again, but seems to have done the job.
