    Hi all,

New here and posting to confirm some excellent advice I have had on another forum.

The issue is hopefully shown clearly in the attached photo and I have had the front left wheel speed sensor replaced which was the first and cheapest option of a fault code which suggests the following -

    G47 0023

00283 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)
00283 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47): Signal Outside Specificat
00283 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47): Electrical Fault in Circuit

    Possible Causes
Open Circuit in Wiring from/to ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)
ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47) faulty

    Possible Solutions
Check Wiring from/to ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)
Check ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)

00283 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47): Mechanical Malfunction

    Possible Causes
Excessive Air Gap between ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47) and Rotor
Short Circuit in Wiring from/to ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)
ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47) faulty

    Possible Solutions
Check ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47) Installation
Check Wiring from/to ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)
Check ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Front Left (G47)

SO my is my next step to source and fit a new wiring loom as I will struggle to afford a new ABS unit. If it is the loom does anyone know a good place where I can find a fitting guide or is it straightforward?

    thanks in advance
