Which A3 Concert Stereo?

Hi - I have a 2000 audi 1.6 A3 and it has an old head unit which I would like to change. I have been looking on Ebay for an Audi Concert head unit, but not sure which to buy?

From looking at the listings audi changed the dash at some stage of the 2000 models and some concert seteros are 22cm and some are 23cm. Can I buy either and just purchase a new surround fascia? or can i only buy one? if so do you know which?

Finally can I attach a Concert 2 head unit? I have heard some problems about the stereo turning itself off after 1 hour because it does not recognise the keys in the ignition so automatically turns off to save battery power? Can anyone confirm this and is they a way around the problem

I think the Concert II turns itself off due to a lack of can-bus. You can buy a can-bus adapter but i've seen them for silly prices (€179) online. If you want to play CDs then I reckon another option would be to look in the boot to see if Audi were kind enough to leave a connection for a cd changer. Much simpler - what I should have done in the first place
