Taken a while to post this , but had a very bad experience regarding a simple paintwork job that turned in to a right mess, waste of my time and money all "DONE" by a top class bodyshop in Buckinghamshire. Allthough recompense was hinted at i decided not to trust my car to them anymore ,and paid out again for the job to be completed to my satisfaction! Make sure you check out people before entrusting them with your pride and joy.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

Are you going to name and shame? (People have a right to know)

My friend runs a detailing business and always lets me know of the best bodyshops. Usually means a long journey for me (I'm based in Wycombe) but I have always been satisfied with the work. Plus if my friend takes his beloved M3 there, I know my A3 is in good hands.

When it comes to garages / repair work I've also posted on here to get feedback before then booking my car in with anyone.

Lessons learn I suppose, but it is not easy, particularly when it is your pride and joy and someone else just does not care!!!

Yes, a long journey for me from Rochester, and a very expensive one. i must say i was offered recompense by way of rectification but did not want to make the trip again once bitten...........! As i have allready said they are in Bucks, and show thier work at many VAG shows have had cars featured in Magazines and are well recomended. But my small rectification job beggered belive.
