3.0 TDI advice - high mileage.

Hi,

What is considered high mileage on the 3.0 TDIs, how long do they go on for before they start costing lots in terms of Turbos, injectors, DMFs etc etc?

I have seen a 2005 3.0 TDI with 119,000 miles on it. Is this kind of mileage a concern?

They are chain driven camshafts aren't they? Therefore I don't need to check belts have been done, is that right?

They are chain driven. I'm at 42k(approx) on an '05 so don't know yet if they go wrong. Touch wood.

Corrct they are chain driven. Mine has 85,000 and is an 06. Absolutely no problems whatsoever apart from a rear brake light bulb replacement. Fabulous cars.

One model (most available) is rated 201bhp with 450Nm of torque and the TDV model (no I don't know what it stands for) is 229bhp with the same 450Nm of torque.
