    Just to check, are these the right discs?

    hi mate yes they are the right discs . as regards where you get the calipers from you dont need the calipers you can use the calipers you have on now but what you do need is the caliper carriers from the 3.0 petrol . basically they are bigger ie stand higher to allow for the 312mm discs your original calipers bolt straight on these . you get the improved braking from the fact that the caliper is further out from the hub therefore applying more leverage which equates to improved stopping power

    Cool.

    That different to the Fabia's set up, where you use the whole caliper, just bolts straight on using original mounts and hose.

    I know all about the leverage side of things (im an engineer), but thank you anyhow.

    Cant find any carriers tho. Im presuming their not too easy to find?

    Just thought, the 2004 B6S4 has a 345x30mm setup.

    Is that a straight swop with my quattro or is my only option the 312mm setup off the 3.0l petrol?

    Sorry for the questions, just want to get it right 1st time.
    Cant affod not to with a 3month old kid.

    i beleive there is another way using b7 brakes but i am not that clued up on this perhaps somebody else might like to chip in on this one
