I have a A4 2.5 quattro estate and I topped up the brake fluid and every since it has the brake warning light in the middle of the dash, My brakes are all working fine all the pads have plenty of wear left I am just wondering if there is a sensor how I can fix this problem..

    Many Thanks

is it a big red exclamation mark with 3 bleeps?, pad warning is orange and appears in top window
might be problem with fluid level sender?

the pad warning can be permantly disabled with vagcom (if its full screen dis) your not too far if you wanted it doing
had to do mine when i fitted s4 hubs/brakes as they had no connections

low fluid would be a red exclamation mark full screen

"I topped up the brake fluid and every since it has the brake warning light in the middle of the dash..."

Linking one thing with the other, I'd guess you have pulled a wire off somewhere on the sensor which is built into the brake fluid reservoir cap - OR - if it has a moving float thing like my Sharan maybe it is jammed in the down / extended / low-level position.

    Hope this helps. OD
