    Hi there,

The rear wiper blade on my 1998 A3 is stuck in the middle of the windscreen. The electrical motor does not respond anymore. It happened when it was really cold this winter. It does not really bother me, but it might be a MOT fail for impeding the vision in the rear mirror...

I tried to gently pull back the wiper but it won't budge. I could not find any simple access to the rear motor from the inside. Would you know how to access it?

    Thanks for your comments.

Not sure about the A3 but on my A6 the tailgate trim comes off as one piece to access the wiper motor, there is 1 posi screw where the grab handle is then it is just clipped on- gentle force removes it.

Thanks for your comments. Indeed I have checked and it is not an MOT fail + I have succeeded to put back into place. All solved now.

    Cheers
