My wife's recently brought a Corrado to replace her Scirocco (Now my track car ) and the wipers are c**p. I've heard there is an easy fix with Lupo wipers, can someone confirm and let me know which wipers I need, heard something about using 2 drivers side ones or something like that.
    Cheers
    Robin

No they're not slow, they do work better on the higher speed, but I've heard about the Lupo swap and was after some confirmation. It's listed as a common problem on another forum, with the Lupo conversion as a solution. Will probably go ahead and let everyone know how it goes,

yes it is a feasable swap.

but if you are handy with a dremmel type grinder, you can grind down the stops on the hinge section of the wiper arm a little bit on your existing wipers and that really improves them. and its cheaper too. though you might want to remove them from the car before you try.

From memory, when i owned a C. I had to buy a nearside and offside Lupo GTI wiper set and two driver arms. You have to swop the driver to passenger wiper and vice versa.
But it is a mod which is well worth it. Unless you go the Rainex route.

Has anyone done the aero wiper conversion, as I've seen these advertised for about £70 saying that they are corrado wipers that work, any confirmation on this.

Hi, not sure of the kit you have seen advertised. But if you just go to you local VW dealer and ask for 2 x driver side Lupo GTi aero wiper arms and a driver and passenger set of blades they will just swap straight over. RRP for the lot is about £90 but most people find that you can haggle with them. That and a headlight loom mod are a must for the Corrado

    hi
if your still intrested i used tt arms and blades 2005 model drivers side only the passenger one requires a small bend on the blade end but easily done the difference is amazing even better than the lupo one which are great over standard the tt ones use aero2 wipers and have heavier spring and more sculptured arms it took about half an hour to do the whole job
