After reading the article I have to laugh - Americans are so gun-ho !!! Could the Air Marshall not tell that it was Cigarette smoke

Qatar's ambassador to Washington told a state news agency: "We respect the need for special security measures for air-related travel... but the diplomat was traveling to Denver on official duty related to the embassy."

That's okay then, let him do whatever he wants under the guise of Diplomatic immunity. I imagine if it had be Joe Public they would be facing a hefty fine and even imprisonment.

If you look back in the News regarding the topic of "Aircraft Security" then I think that you will find that ALL (reputable) AIRLINES operate a "ZERO" tolerance when it comes to the safety of the passengers or the crew.

You will find that there are at least two sets off handcuffs on board (not there to satisfy the crews fetish needs). So when the next time you are on your way to Amsterdam or Praque and you suddenly decide that under the influenceof drink that you decide to enlighten a member of crew that "you might be carrying a weapon that you are willing to use", do not be surprised at the response.

TO NOT REACT WOULD BE ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF ALL ON BOARD, no matter how OTT it might seem.

And! When you are looking at the news of the BA cabin crew strikes and thinking to yourself "Hey those jumped up pre-madonnas" are getting an excellent wage and perks, JUST REMEMBER!! They have all spent at least three years at a Shoalin Monestary learning marshall arts (even the openly feminate male cabin crew members!).
