Hi all I am new to the forums and found you purely by chance, I have the same problem as it seems few on here have, temp gauge on dash registering low temp level maybe reaching 60 when idling at a standstill then fan coming on and dropping it to 0 again, I have a new Dual temperature sender to try but for all my trying cannot locate where it is under the bonnet, There does not appear to be a Haynes Manual (As much as I hate them) for the V5 all I need is a diagram of where to find the bloody thing. Can anyone help me?
I look forward to many happier postings on here soon..

    Relax...it been a holiday weekend.

OK, from what I can see its at the flywheel end of the engine on the cylinder head and plugs into a little plastic manifold which is part of the cooling system of course.
