Hi all, A few questions please, I have a A4 B7 2006 DTM, I have been offered a set of Genuine 19" RS4 wheels - from an RS4, question is will they fit straight onto my DTM without any problems and will they rub the arches? What about the offset?

What would the ride be like on 19's? One other thing what are genuine 19" RS4 wheels worth?

    Thanks

    Hi Sarge,

I have 19" RS6 alloys on my B7... A few people on the forum have and to be honest I get a BETTER smoother ride out of my diesel with the 19's than I did with my 16's.

Mine are replica but for a brand new set of genuine RS4 19's your going to be looking at over £2,500 with tyres... They are not cheap!
If you can get them at a decent price then get them as the genuine ones are better than any replica ones out there.

I am not 100% sure on the fitting. Bez is really good with these kind of issues so drop him a PM: https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/p...=newpm&u=27186

I have put 19s on my A4 Avant TDI and they did catch on the strut so i put 5mm spacers on it was ok then, the ride is harder (not to bad tho) i was running mich tyres 255x35x19. I have now changed the tyres to khumo but had to drop to 235x35x19 the 255s where far to wide catching with the spacers on i would not advise anyone to run with the 235s on as the don't look rite (the rim sticks out beyond the tyre = kerb damage (not good)
    hope this helps

I think it depends on the offset as they fitted right onto mine with no issue. I cant remember the offset at the top of my head but I will find out.

I am running 235/35/19... I have tyres with "rim protectors" and they save the rim from damage... I have a spare 19" also with the same size Nexon tyre and the rim sticks out on that as you say so will get damage.

I run 19s (RS6 alloys) on a 2006 B7. 235x35x19. No spacers and they slot straight on without rubbing or catching.

Sorry, been told the offset/ET is 29 if this makes any difference to the fitting, and sorry again not got any experience with wheels/tyres. Tyres 255/35/19.

    Cheers
