Sounds like it could be a faulty relay. The relay controls all flashing whether it be left, right or hazards, this would include the hazard switch its self.

Sorry to state the obvious but do check all bulbs and fuses. It may be a dry joint somwhere but my money would be on the relay. Appraently they are just a push pull type of fitment.

    I hope this helps.

Also realised that the warning buzzer is not working if the lights are left on on exit of car. Where are the relays situated? Are these the ones above the fuses?. Anyone know from a manual?. Ta all.

Yeah, the flasher unit should be on the relay board above the fuses. The flasher unit will normally only have 3 terminals, so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out which one it is. The terminals are usually marked 31, 49 & 49a (look at the base of the relay). To check if the relay is faulty, get a bit of wire (paper clip) and stick it in the holes on the relay board where the 49 and 49a go. Now put the ignition on and try switching your indicators on. The outside indicators should come on. If they do, then there is a very good chance the relay is faulty.
    Regards - Jim

Jim youre a star mate, I found the relay as you discribed and discovered that the guy who wired the alarm in recently pulled some wires tight across the relay and unseated it from the board, thus a short. I pulled it out and reseated it and alls good again. Im not sure why the buzzer for the lights isn't working tho. Thanks again for your time.
    Regards, Gary.

Glad I could help Gary. Just a thought on the lights buzzer, does the interior light come on when you open the drivers door. Perhaps the alarm guy connected the alarm to the door switch and didn't put the wire back on right.
