Aluminium window trim

What can I use to polish/clean the aluminium
window trim on my a4? They're currently covered in rain spots. I've tried a small bit of autosol chrome cleaner, but didn't see any improvement on the small test patch I tried.

Any recommendations welcome!

Hi there i use Brasso ( the one for chrome ) it works a treat i also use it around front grill

I now always dry the trim off before it dries naturally when washing. It actually seems to help.

I dont think it is possible to polish out these rain spots. MY A4 has these on the drivers door, and it is a known problem which it is difficult to get the dealer to acknowledge. If you try chemicals or abrasives, you will just destroy the coating of the strips in the first place. If only they were good old chrome this wouldn't be an issue.
