Should be okay. If anything it should sound pretty nice. There's no doubt someone with a vidoe of one on youtube.

By the way, that price I told you for the system from Audi. You need to add VAT to that.

Diesels do have cats but aren't tested for emissions, just smoke. My Octavia TDI was MOT'd yesterday which confirmed it.

I imagine they are louder without the cats, so I don't entertain that idea. Again, a sports cat sounds like the best of both worlds.

I decided to go for the stainless exhaust in the end.

Removed the cats and the resonator and had option 2 silencers ( 1 being stock and 5 being full sport bloody loud ). I wasn't very happy with this as it was still to loud for me, not on idle that sounded great but under load.
So the guy put a silencer in the middle for me and now I am very happy with it. It looks better than the stock and sounds better on idle and under load, not only that but it goes much better, it revs so freely and when taken up near the red it doesn't feel like its struggling any more.
