2.0 TDI 143/170 Differences ???

hi all, new to this forum

just got a quick question,
what is the actual difference between the 143ps and 170ps 2.0 tdi engines?

is it just a different ecu map or do they use different turbos etc ?

I believe I think I might have heard someone say somewhere at some point that the 170 engines have a bigger turbo. I'm not the expert, though - hopefully someone who knows what they are talking about will come along and confirm (or, more likely, tell you I'm talking complete rubbish as usual! )

I believe the 170 has a different turbo, map and bigger injectors.

thanks for the info, thought it would be somthing like that, was just curious as the MTM upgrades have different increases so just wonder if the engine specs were different
