Had this in the A6 forum better here. Hello all normally do a search to find answers, but a bit stuck on this
Have a 2004 A6 1.9 SE Avant, the Concert radio is fine on FM but no AM?
I put an inline amplifier on aerial with no joy, any idea's appreciated.
Oh I took the rear roof light out to check aerial connection, seems OK.

Update have put a spare aerial I had in the unit & just stuck it
out of the window, hey great reception.
So I put a good earth to the rear roof aerial hoping that might be the problem
    no joy
So seems to me that something between the unit & aerial is duff.

    Regards Doddy

Had a similar problem on the 02 A3, my local auto electricians changed an amplifier and hey presto. FM reception was always perfect before and after
