    Hello folks,

Lately, I have realised that the clutch pedal feels slack on the top for about half an inch. There is no problem with the clutching or anything else. Just wondered what that could be? Is there any way to compensate for the slack. Mine is hydraulic so I guess not unless otherwise there is a way.

Secondly, and its wiered one, the clutch pedal depresses itself when I apply the brakes. I can feel the clutch going away from under the foot and then it comes back on its own followed by safe braking.

What do you experts think it could be?

Dont tell me if the clutch is going, I mean you can tell.

    Cheers.

Would you still recommend bleeding the clutch system?

    Cheers.

PS: that video is not mine or my cars.

I don't know how competent you are mechanically but if there are issues that could possibly effect the braking or clutch functionality of the car. ie. Slave, master cylinder , I would recommend that you have a qualified professional look at it....

Just from a safety point of view ya know...

The clutch and brake use the same reservoir and so are not pressure related, I think you have a pedal box issue there but I have never encountered that problem.
