    Hi im thinking on coverting my 1.8v mk2 Gti to a Vr6 as i have been offered an engine, gearbox and loom for £300 however i have been told its a pig of a conversion what else other than brakes etc do i need to do to make the engine fit and run?

    little help here people

    youll need
    drive shafts(g60 if you keeping it 4stud)
    hubs 16v/G60 if you keeping it 4 stud(pcd4x100)
    clutch are you goin cable or hydraulic
    pedal box
    carddo vr6 rad n fan set up would be advised
    carrado fron x member with engine mount
    mk3 golf vr6 subframe


    ther jus a few bits take a look on mk2 vr6 forum or club gti forum for futher info.

    once you have all the bits/parts the conversion is straight foward.
