I have an 03 passat TDI and the Auxillary belt tensioner bolt keeps snapping (3 this year so far) have changed little damper, tensioner pulley, belt, tensioner housing which contains new bolt and the fan mounting bracket (bolts to block) runs ok for maybe a couple of months and then bang with out warning, can't see any probs with alternator or power steering pump, has anyone had similar problems???

Change your alternator pulley. The freewheel clutch siezes putting strain on the tensioner causing the bolt to snap
