Hello, I have just read fault codes on my friends golf 1.6 petrol results posted below, The car cuts out at junctions and judders intermitantly when driving and looses power. Any input would be apreceated.... I have cleared the codes to check again as some of them may be old left over ones. I am guessing MAF or throttle body cleaning?

    4 Faults Found

    00533 - Idle Speed Regulation
    19-10 - Lower Limit - Intermittent
00516 - Closed Throttle (Idle) Position Switch (F60)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
    00557 - Pressure Switch; Power Steering (F88)
    29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent
    00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
    27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

3 of the faults are intermittent but 00516 is not,and 00513 will cause the symptoms you describe.
