    hi, my exhaust is blowing, found this hole in the rear of the cat, looks like something should be init has anyone got any idea what should be there please. the car is a golf 1.8 20v non turbo agn code. thank you in advance

    looks to me like the post cat lambda sensor has been nicked.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    oh rite dont think theres ever been any wireing that end of the cat, ive had the car a year and it has only just started to blow, i have no lights up on the dash when running if this helps

    looking on autodata, it only has the one lambda sensor, so i think there must have been a bolt in that hole. is there a thread still in there. if so you need a bolt to put back in there, or thread a hole and fit a bolt, or weld it up.
