Do you know if it is possible to 'retro' fit some Isofix brackets for a childs seat in my A6 Avant 2001 model?

    Thanks

Yes, there is a kit from Audi, I don't think it is too expensive. A friend of mine had it done to a 99 A6 saloon. Give your local dealer a buzz, took about 45 minutes to fit I think (and he is not the most 'mechanically minded' of us !)

    Thanks for the quick replies!

Just so i have got this right, turning the key in the glove compartment key hole (inside) will turn the front passenger side airbag off?

Im pretty sure it does but just wanted to make double sure!

    Cheers

Yes i understand that, but we have a car seat base that fits using the seat belt, however since the rear seats are angled down to much the child does not sit correctly in it. However it is possible to angle the front seats upwards more which would solve this problem leaving the bottom of the seat more flat.

So why ask about isofix. Do you already have the Airbag Key installed. Regards Peter
