    Hi all,

Im not sure if this is a fault with all 2006 MK5 Golfs but just asking here.

When i pull the button up on my electric windows they sometimes go down instead?

Anyone come across this problem? I've heard its a fault with most 2006 Golfs but just checking here.

    Thanks

If for some reason there is too much resistance on the window regulator, the window will go down again

put the window down and lubricate the rubber guides with silicon sparay(flash dash will do) really concentrate on spraying it down the channel of the window below the level of the door trim. using a spray cap with a straw attatchment is good for this. when done wind the window up and down fully a few times and that should be it sorted. to reset the window autorollback sensetivity. roll the window to the very top and press up 3 times in quick sucsession using only the first stage of the swith (first click. not outo close/second click) i hope this helps and is understandable. i dont spell to good and i type even worse lol.
