  1. Fitting Remote servo anyone got advice please

Hi im having fitted one remote servo to my car heres some pics of my bay its modified and smoothed and want to improve braking a bit as i use it more daily than it was intended

So i have mk2 master cylinder fitted on the drivers side
im having a remote servo put in passengers footwell i think but if cant get it to fit there going to have to go in my bay may have to move washer bottle or battery.

now it looks like im having the servo run off the front brake lines as they do most of the raking then have a bias valve fitted to even out the braking front and rear

has anyone fitted one or done anything different it says on the servo sites that with twin circuit brakes like mine you should run two remote servos but there just too bulky so im sending one back

hope someone has some suggestions oh and im not buying a pedal box system as i dont have the cash for one

why not just fit a 1.9tdi polo servo in the engine bay located same place as your master now... Its nice and small and cope well with twin lines.... I'm running it with brembo fronts and tt calipers rears.. Wilwood bias for each line to rear...

MK1 CAB.. 1.8tt (AUM) - TT back box - Full TT dash - Intergrated TT lights - Full Koni Suspension - 928 Rims - Porsche Brakes converted to 280mm - DTA ECU - ABS sensors all round but not used for braking - Full electric Pack.. Loads more..

Two of these but God knows where you would hide them!

One other thing, I have just done twin 40’s on an 8v and had a sketch with the servo pick up, you will need an old servo line to pinch the valve from and some VW servo hose. I had Pirtek make me up a banjo union to bolt into the un-machined boss on the inlet manifold which I had drilled and tapped out by a local engineer. You will also need a suitable T or Y piece if you use two servo's.
