Audi A4 s line 170

I am going to buy a an audi a4 sline 170, can you guys let me know what to look out for?

Any help on this would be much apreciated

I bought one in December and had a few problems - discussed in this forum...

I'm sure there are many good cars out there but you can get some expensive bills due to:

Oil pump drive on pre 2007 engines.
Injector failure - don't buy a car which shows any sign of hesitation/missing.
Diesel Particulate filter - the soot catcher in the exhaust only lasts 120k and will cost towards 1500 fitted.

Be prepared for mid 30's economy.

Cheers for that......this one is a 2005, mileage is 58k, i'm travelling 125miles so am hoping its a good one as my heart is set on it

Sounds good just check the normal things i guess like service history check the front pads and discs and also the tyres for uneven wear. Enjoy!

It's a good car...but...known problems are the juddering clutch issue and the injectors - and these are expensive so get yourself an after-market warranty.
