    Having a really rubbish day

So have turned my thoughts to alloys. I can't quite decide what to do - fancied going for some nice 17" alloys. I won't be telling the insurance cos they'd find some other reason not to pay out anyway (I have a bit of a problem with insurance companies!). But what do you think?

It's for my 51 (Mk4) 2.0GTi Golf, silver. I like the ones with a shiny rim beyond the wheel. Just had a quick google - what do you think?

im loving dark wheels at the moment, i dont like the in your face chrome look TBH.

a nice shadow chrome can look tasty, but can be quite expensive.

i would tell your insurance though, half of the time it wont affect your premium, but if you dont tell them, theyll just use it against you when you need them

Thanks, of these two, I am liking the dark one better. Still has a shiny "lip" as I've just learned it's called!

Shadow chrome? Would that be like a brushed alum look? Mmm...

    Thanks

    Real Players Have these

You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future

For any alloys 17" or larger, i would go for a 'deep dish' style, as it will help prevent kerbing/scratching them.
