    Default Passat Estate TDi 130bhp – 20-02-2006,11:21 AM
    Can anyone clarify the badge colouring on this car please? I beleive for the 130bph that the "D" and the "i" should both be in red. Any ideas?

    Welcome to the forum. I think you are correct but VW did change things with different years,mine is a 2002 with red D and I and is a 130 bhp.

    Thanks for that Gaz. Looking at a 55 plate 130bph and it only has the red i. Raised it with VW as a technical query (they only seem to have info readily at hand on the golf badging). Will let you know the outcome.

    Dave,

    I have a 54 plate 130bhp Highline and both the D & i are red, my mate has an 04 plate highline 100bhp and only the i is red.

    If it is any help my engine prefix is AWX.
