Power Steering failure

Hi all,

I own an A3 2.0TDI and a couple of months back I have acquired a red steering wheel fault light on the display. It started off amber then red and came on intermittently. For the last few days this is now on permanently.
I took it to a friend who ran a scan on it and it came up with a few faults.

Check fuse 2 on the fuse holder on the battery and fuse 3 on the fuse holder on the side of the dash panel

Thanks for the quick reply. I've checked both of those fuses and both are ok.

it's not looking good for you matey only one thing left to check and that is the connector and wiring on the steering box
