Last night my windscreen wipers failed to work when stationary and now only work when the car is moving. I understand that there is a sensor but coming to a halt the wipers stop mid wipe. Also the wash wipe has failed completely since. Can anyone help before Dutton Forshaw drool!

Have you checked the fuses. Fuse 42 on drivers side for washers, I think.

The washer not working makes me wonder if the fuse for that has blown and the wiper problem is just a side effect. Have you been trying to get the washer to spray whilst the system has been frozen in this chilly weather?
