    Default remote central locking stoped working – 24-02-2010,08:42 PM
    can anyone help, the R.C.L has stopped working on my a4 avant i have to unlock the drivers door then turn on the ignition to get the other doors to unlock. I have checked the fuses andf tried re-seting the system but no joy

    have you tried replacing the batteries? if it is the batteries, because its dead for a while you may find it doesnt work prop. i replaced the bat on mine and now my hazards dont flash when i lock the car, nor my windows dont go up when i hold the lock button anymore

    thanks for that i will try the batteries but i have 2 keys and neither work but will give it a go
