Unless its a default configuration for your country then its set in the midline or highline computer menus.

I've got mine set but find it a pain as you lose all options in the computer once the warning goes off, only coming back when the speed falls below the warning level.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Thats excatly what bothers me when loosing all readings in the highline computer.

Changing the settings in the highline computer menu is useless. I still get the speed warning.

i thought that in my MK5 when I owned one, you had the option to set a speed warning for any numerical value by driving at that speed and then pressing the OK button (in my case on the wiper stalk.
To cancel that value you turned on the ignition and scrolled throught to the display showing the current set speed and then pressed the OK button to cancel it (whilst stationary, of course)

On the MK5, when stopped... toggle through the MENU to SPEED warning, and then hold the RESET button for around 5 seconds to disable it..

Not sure on the MK6 though

I have tried to uncheck the speed warning in the highline computer but still getting the warning. i have set the speed warning at 160 km/h and still getting the warning at 120 km/h. I don’t mind the speed warning beep ( one beep ) after passing the 120 km/h , but loosing the functionality of the highline computer info/display is what bothering me. ;(

noting your location - is 120kmh a certain 'national speed limit' or something - as it sounds as if having set your adjustable warning to 160, you can't prevent another one at 120? If I'm following this right - it sounds like a hard coded 'extra' warning - which we don't have on the UK cars.

    just a possibility?
