Hi All, does anyone know if its possible to adjust the clutch on a 2004 A4 Avant 1.8T?

Sympton is - Clutch biting point fairly high but not uncommon on an Audi, Clutch doesnt slip under load (or at all), but from Standstill its difficult to get into 1st and reverse and you have to be quite forceful most of the time.

When stationary with the clutch fully depressed, if i slowly go into reverse i can feel it graunch (as if you hadnt pushed the clutch all the way), which leads me to believe that it needs adjustment.

Am fairly certain its hydraulic - anyone got any ideas? - if i need a new clutch then does anyone have a reccomendation of a decent person to do the job in the surrey area?

    Cheers!
