I am looking to update my 2008 MM1 Sat Nav dvd.

I have come across this supplier
    http://navigationdisk.eu/?p=1129#more-1129

Can anybody advise if these are gen Audi discs and has anybody had any previous dealings with them, as they are a lot cheaper that from a Audi dealer?

Are there any alternative suggested suppliers?

What is the position with fitting a dodgy dvd, as it is my understanding that you cannot go back to an earlier version disc, at least not without an expensive visit to your dealer?

I just updated to 2010 not sure I'd bother paying for it ....

    It doesn't change much (anything?)

And it can be had for free ( though I don't think the mods would tolerate that being discussed here)
B8 2.7 TDi debadged multitronic saloon S-Line 20mm drop in monza silver , sat nav , milano leather , cruise control , hill hold , advanced parking , advanced key , Bluefin chipped 236BPH 470NM , TPMS and ADS activated via VAG-COM

That was why I was looking at the attached web site, at only £33 they are a lot cheaper that from Audi, though I take your point about if there is any real benefit?

Do you know if the updates are just to the route maps, or is the MM1 SETUP funtions updated/changed as well, or are Audi MMI functions seperate to the route maps?

Did you get your update through Audi?

Other than some new points of interest can't see any changes movingfrom 2009 - 2010

Didn't see any change going from 2008 - 2009 previously

As to where I got it check your PMs

I would imagine for that price they use a similar supplier to the one in my message and just burn the iso onto disk and print on a fancy label
