    Best film of all time??

    Maybe not the best of all time... but a fav of mine is Platoon...

    While the film is an excellent depiction of the war’s confusion, frustration, rage, hatred, and fear, “Platoon” is in essence a story of the battle between good and evil. Its grunt-eye view of hell is passionate, powerful, and realistic. Stone addresses the morality of a time and place where there was little or none. He has taken a giant step toward the true story of the happenings of the Vietnam conflict and those involved in it. The combination of the movie’s characters, the photography taken in the Philippines and the music, “Platoon” is very close to being a “great one.”

    Not sure I can match the eloquence of the above review but I love Pulp Fiction.

    Clever story and very clever dialect.

    Another favourite on a similar vein is Amores Perros.

    There are, as with Pulp Fiction, three stories which all come together in one incident. It's Mexican so if you don't read good ( )you may want to avoid it.

    And no, I'm not Mexican, I just look for something diverse when trying a new style of film.

    Best film of all time is a tricky one though;

    Shawshank Redemption is excellent, as is the Godfather...Cars is good too

    Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.

    To many come out as favorites but I think my top one at the moment is The 39 Steps
    You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future

    another one of mine...

    you may laugh...... "Sideways"... always good to watch with a good bottle of Red or Pinot depending on taste..

    A summary of the film.... Miles is a failed writer living a meager existence in San Diego as an English teacher. With his career seemingly fading and the fate of a book hinging on a publisher's decision, Miles is depressed with himself and what he hasn't achieved. Jack is a television actor whom some recognize but not many do, as if he were a minor actor who got a taste of success. With his best friend Miles, the two embark on a road trip through California's wine country. Miles wants to give his friend a nice sendoff before married life, while Jack simply wants to have a fling beforehand. As they're both nearing middle age with not much to show for it, the two will explore the vineyards while ultimately searching for their identities.
