    Hi there,

Having some problems with my 2000 polo 1.4SE, ive come across some threads where some people have similiar problems but couldnt quite diagnose mine.

6-7 months ago my engine started cutting every now and then when turning into junctions at low speeds and so on, throttle body cleaned worked fine for a little while but then come back, so throttle body got changed and everything was perfect.

NOW, the engine cuts again but only when I slow down at the traffic lights for example shift down to second, and it wont start immediatly, sometimes does. But most of the time i have to wait for around 5-10 mins for engine to cool to start it up again and runs fine untill it happens again. Sometimes it never happens sometimes its 2-3 times a day.

Now ive thought the best idea was to change the relays as that seems to be the cheapest thing to try, some people claim there is a relay 109 in petrols? I thought this was in diesels, either way im getting the relay 410 changed tomorrow and see if that solves anything. Any other ideas anyone? Thanks

What we need is the engine type code, for example AUD. You will find this info on your log book, service book, on the cam cover and on a sticker in the boot.
