    Sensors are already painted, the ones of ebay.

    This Cobra approved guy said he can do it without removing the bumper, would unclip various trim etc and work from underneath.

    Do you think this is a load of tosh and should i find someone who insists on taking the bumper off?

    Had them fitted but they are quiet, how do you increase the noise of the beeps?

    I also got a cheaper quote from someone who said that they could do it without taking off the bumper but I thought that it might compromise the correct placement of the sensors and the neatness of the holes. So I decided to stick with the more expensive quote & avoid cutting corners.


    UPDATE - just got the car back, looks good & working well. The guy said you definitely need to remove the bumper in the Avant as there is an aluminium beam which needs drilled to accommodate the sensors.

    Just got mine done, proper bumper off job. Fit and finish is superb. Why wouldn't you for £179 fitted !
