    Ok re-sealed the lights, so no leaks there. I've noticed with the new seal on the tailgate that water seams to come in over the seal on one corner Anybody re-aligned the tailgate before...not sure if that's the next course of action but it's about the only thing left to do

    what did you use to seal the lights up?
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    A silicon sealant...worked a treat, previous owner had used black windscreen sealant, it was everywhere !
    I think i've found the solution to the leak with the seal....wasn't sitting correctly on the lip of the tailgate....no leaks now, been pouring all morning.

    i used silicone on mine, seems ok so far. the first time i used some heavy duty window sealant, but it rained that night and washed it all out.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...
