Well, it's certainly not for me - but each to his own. One thing strikes me though is how well the matt finish will resist going shiny, for instance around the door handles. With a normal finish you can polish out marks, but what will happen with this??

The car is "wrapped" it is a plasticky covering. You can get just about any colour you want.
Quite popular in Germany especially with TAXIs, after all who would buy a second hand light brown Merc second hand, people would be jumping in the back seat at every red traffic light (they are mostly silver underneath). It protects the original paint from damage.
You can also get Carbon foil that they do grills and bits with, its put on using a heat gun and a lot of patience!!

Yes -- its a big thing over in Germany at the moment...

Also.... "E-ON" the gas and electric company, they wrap all there Fiesta's in bright Orange, with there logos,

it helps when they come to sell their ex fleet cars as most tend to be the popular colurs rather than bright orange!
