vw touran 55 plate door central locking

Hello, im new to this and was wondering if anyone could help?
My Touran has developed a fault with my drivers door: when you unlock the doors with the button it wont unlock, it will do every other door but the drivers! If i stand there and try the button loads of times then it will open after a while? Seems to do it all the time now. All the other doors unlock and lock perfectly?

listen to see if the door itself is unlocking internally
if it does you will need to adjust the cable on the handle to the catch

Hello thanks for the reply, it sounds like the door is trying to unlock with the central locking but not working! And if you keep pressing the button then it will sometimes unlock and then sometimes it won't!
