In my opinion and this is solely my opinion and not that of this forum, i'll state now that i have zero intention of offending anyone but here goes.

If anyone is stupid enough to want to increase their chances of prematurly ending their life by joining any armed forces then they deserve to run that risk so Harry should go. If he gets shot he has no one to blame but himself.

Our over crowded prison system is full of convicts serving life sentences, send them instead, bingo 2 problems solved in one, no more over crowded prisons and no more recruitment problems for armed forces. If then a convict gets shot - Justice.

I really never believed he would be sent to Iraq or anywhere more dangerous than a troop inspection tbh. Imagine the outcry if he'd been blown up?
You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future

I agree with that , i certainly wouldn't. I did see a picture the other day and it had wales written onhis helmet. maybe they should remove that and the chances are the insurgents/terrorist probably wouldn't have clue.

I would of personally like to see him posted, if the army had any sense they would keep it from the press when. also Our troops are fighting for queen and country, so he should be allowed to go and do the same....yes i think he wants too, but the royal advisors are nervous, but they would be they not in the Army!

Well.... either he's in the army or he's not. And there was a huge outcry last week saying that if they send Harry to Iraq, he'll endanger every other soldier there and cause more danger. Now that they have said they'll not send Harry to Iraq, people are up in arms saying why's it ok to send my son then? Fair point, but damned if he goes, damned if he doesn't.

If he's in the army then the same should be expected of him as of any other person in his position. I expect being an "officer" he wouldn't be doing a private's job anyway?

As for convicts... mmmm. Difficult one. What about if they were in there for, say, ridiculous speeding?

Your not likely to get a life sentence for speeding.

convicts for mass murder, murder, rape, deffo gun crime, not terrorists tho.

Oh, I missed the 'lifer' bit. Fair point. Can we trust them to defend us? Will they deffo just rape and pillage the enemy and not us please?

I think they should all be chained together and make the roads and railways and stuff. At least it would take their mind off not have cosy enough sheets, or telly is too small, or whatever.

It makes me far angrier than it should actually - I thought when you committed a crime and was convicted of said crime, you relinquished any rights other than your human ones, the biggest of all being the right to freedom. I also thought human rights were the right to food, shelter and what's the other one, water?

deep breaths, let it go, let it go...

From what I can make out, he joined the army for this very purpose.

If he wants to go, let him. If he doesn't, arrest him for refusing to soldier.

I hope he doesn't go else he might die and my other half will drag me to another pointless memorial with a pitiful water feature

Is it because mum beat you with a hose that you are now unable to stand up to her and not be dragged to said fountain?

    Did you paddle?
