    Hi Guys

Im a first time poster, Ive recently bought a 2002 B5 130BHP TDI . I noticed the rear lights fogging in addition to excess moisture ont he rear screen and back windows. I investigated and found water in the spare wheel well, -i dried out but the problem is back-can anyone please advise?

-can it be coming through the boot seals or maybe a leeking bung?

    Cheers

get yourself in the boot with a torch, and get someone to spray the vehicle with a hose, and you will see were the water is coming from.it's usually the light cluster

Cheers Kenny-, i get the impressiont he light cluster is a known problem,-will it require a new rear cluster or is there an alternate fix you are aware of?

fair play mate, -also, the rear seems very bouncy at time s when on any bit of an uneven road-it seems a little unstable to me(a non professional driver!)-ive had a mechanc look at this-although experience has taught me never to use this guy again-but question is, - have you come across other owners commenting on how the rear is behaving on less than perfect roads?
    Cheers

    Put in basic terms the b5 is a mk1 a4 from '95 to 2001 and the b6 is 2002 to 2005 and you might call it a mk2 a4.
    I have seen b6 a4's on late 2001 reg(Y REG IN ENGLAND)
If you look at cars for sale you will soon see the differences at a glance
I dont think the Irish part would make any difference but a late registered b5 might get a 2002 reg .
