Hi folks I am looking to buy another B5.5 A4 Avant and have never had a 2.5D. Is this a good buy and if so what should I look out for engine and suspension wise please? (click on Ebay link)

The display looks like gone a bit dodgy. Factor in a cost of repair, and other than that I'd make sure the transmission performs as it should.

Insist on all the invoices to back up the "full service history". Anyone can put rubber stamps on pages in the little book.

Yeah the DIS can be a problem and do you know if the gearbox is tiptronic as opposed to CVT?

Check for cam wear, a new set fitted would cost more than the price of the car. Same with the injection pump. Personally I think the 2.5 TDI none roller lifter engine is a money pit.
