Picked up my 'new' A4 Avant today...

1st issue - Sat Nav/Stereo says 'Unit Locked' & 'SAFE' I dont have the code, what can I do?

2nd issue - sat nav doesn't eject CD/DVD... not sure whether its because its 'Locked' or whether there isn't a CD/DVD in there... If its the latter, where can I download a new copy?

Also, is there anywhere where I can download a set of manuals?

1. Take it to an Audi dealer.

2. If the Naviagtion works then the drive is locked. The NAV wont work without the disc in. Your dealer can unlock, you can also use VAG-COM if you have access to it.

Google should be your friend for downloads....

I have Vag-Com from when I had a passat... do you mean I can get my stereo code with it?

No, I meant you can unlock the drive of your Nav unit with it. You cannot get radio codes with VAG-COM.

people on ebay can get you the unlock code to remove 'safe' from ur unit for about £40
