hi there, i have a 1.9TDI 130 A3 2001. it failed its MOT the other day needed 3 new springs and new rear discs and a new suspention arm. i fitted a set of lowering springs (only 35mm) and some drilled and grooved discs and a standard suspention arm. it has now passed its MOT but on the road today i noticed that when i stopped accelerating and was just cruizing there is a faint moaning noise. does anyone know what this could be?

    Still to do: Clutch, remap.

Did you accidently run over the mot man ,and he's stuck under the car?
Just kidding, if you have had the suspension assembly apart and up together again maybe something isn't quite how it should be, worth a quick look,or maybe now that the suspension is right and running true you could have highlighted a failing wheel bearing as said above.
Alternatively without hearing the noise it's hard to say but potentially a leaking hose etc on the turbo/cooler, again might need some more detail of the moaning noise
